CHHS Spirit Found At Local IHOP

"Tonight, we went to IHOP for free pancakes and they were crazy busy, with one of the managers serving tables. This manager even had to bring her kids in to stay there until she gets off tonight due to being under staffed.

BUT this story is about these EXCEPTIONAL, polite, courteous, helpful, kind, gracious, endearing young men of the Colonial Heights High School soccer team. They saw tables full of dishes left from previous customers and servers with way too much of a load on them; so they jumped into action and started clearing and cleaning tables to help out.

I literally couldn't be prouder to be CHHS alum and see this and be a citizen of Colonial Heights and see this. This gives me hope. These 6 young men are everything we should ALL strive to be!!! I posted it to a local page so they can be recognized and with hopes to get in touch with their families to tell them of their greatness. I spoke with one family. I hope I can with the rest. I am also calling the school so they can hear just how amazing these guys are!

Just in case you're wondering - their meals were paid for by us. The restaurant didn't have a chance to do anything." - Local Colonial Heights Resident

Dress Code for Males
Males should wear dress pants or khakis at their waists, collared button down dress shirt, tie, belt, and dress shoes (no tennis or skateboarding shoes will be allowed). Objects like canes, wallet chains, or hats are not allowed.

Dress Code for Females

Females should wear a fingertip-length dress. Dresses with cut outs, excessive cleavage, plunging neck lines, back outs, bare or visible midriffs, and inappropriate slits will not be permitted. Appropriate footwear (no tennis or skateboarding shoes will be allowed) should be worn. This is a school-sponsored event, so dress code applies. Remember, dresses that are so tight that they ride up when dancing are not permitted. Appropriate undergarments should be worn.

Security will be present and students will be denied access if dress code is out of compliance.

Talk about Colonial Pride...

Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, and fans of the 2016-2017 CHHS athletic season! We are eligible for Wells Fargo's VHSL "Stay in the Game Award." CHHS will gladly accept this honor at the state VHSL meeting this fall. Thank you for making sportsmanship a priority!

 Class of 2018!

Are you excited?  It is that time of year where we start taking formal yearbook pictures in our cap and gown.  Our school has adopted a new gown for all starting this year.  It is very snazzy and Colonial!

Candid Color will be at CHHS on July 17 & July 24 for Senior Portrait Sessions.

If you are NOT getting your cap and gown picture with our photographer-Candid Color, then, you will need to contact  CHHS to check availability and reserve a gown for the day.

Gowns will be available for purchase in September 2017. Heriff Jones will have meetings with seniors and provide ordering packets on September 8th, October 3rd, October 4th and October 10th.
