CHHS Crabtree Falls Hike

AP Biology Crabtree Falls Hike was a success! Students had a wonderful time. Some of them had never been on a hike, or even been in mountains, and they loved it! No one was hurt and all had a great time. It really helped to expand the AP Biology ecology unit.

City Government Day

Students in Mrs. McConnell's Advanced Placement Government classes participated in a City Government Day Tuesday, November 29th. The students "shadowed" various city workers and developed proposals specific to their assigned department. After lunch, the students participated in a "mock city council" meeting. Some students served on the council while others addressed the council with their spending proposals for their department's' needs. It was an enjoyable and educational experience for all.

The new structure is where Colonial Heights High School Agri-Program students will be able to put their classroom lessons and green thumbs to the test. Work began in the spring and was completed over the summer. Principal Kristin Janssen was impressed by....." - Sean CW Korsgaard

Dress Code for Females

Females should wear a fingertip-length dress. Dresses with cut outs, excessive cleavage, plunging neck lines, back outs, bare or visible midriffs, and inappropriate slits will not be permitted. This is a school-sponsored event, so dress code applies. Remember, dresses that are so tight that they ride up when dancing are not permitted. Appropriate undergarments should be worn.
